Yes to lawyer, no to the rest, but thank you! I love my new camera phone!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Amber, that blotter is the best idea I've seen in a while, looks fantastic! Is it just a regular utility spray bottle you use?

The blotter is a pad of watercolor sheets 18" x 24". I use the blotter just as you would a desk top calendar or blotter. I scribble, jot and doodle. Some times, I draft out areas so that I can better contain my scribbles. For example this one is 3 years old and is only partially finished.

Then, once I have used most of the white space (and the doodles would leave color on my wrists and keyboards, I pull them off the desk and set them aside for later play.

Often I use both spay bottles and paint brushes loaded with expunged ink. The first priority is to cover / conceal any information that may be confidential.

As for the bottle - I am currently using three or four bottles because they are smaller. The utility spay bottles are often huge. I'm using bottles that more like ones you would buy with lilac or rose water (think a very large perfume atomizer).

Finally, sometimes, I use the blotter to write my brother very artistic letters that he can hang in his tiny crib.

Love this one! What ink did you use for the pinkish bits?

An old bottle of Sheaffer Skrip Red. The original is downtown at the office of an AIDS organization "Action Red" - though I told them they were free to sell it if they could "con"vince anyone to give them money for it. :)

I tried to get some larger pics to show you how the ink changed as I was writing.

  • 1 month later...

outstanding review and thanks for sharing

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time
