Separation Anxiety

HELP! The section of my beautiful M600 separated from the barrel.

I'm too embarrassed to say how it happened. Let's just say I had an AARP moment while flushing my pens.

Where can I send it for repair? It's not "broken", i.e., cracked or smashed. It seems to just need re-attaching, but I'm not sure I want to fool with it myself unless it's a really straightforward fix someone might walk me through.

Any suggestions, referrals are greatly appreciated.

Phone calls last just minutes, emails get deleted, but letters live forever.

I'd contact Chartpak and send it there for replacement. They're typically pretty good about that.

These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives everything its value.--Thomas Paine, "The American Crisis", 1776

The sections on Pelikan pens are fused to the barrel. You aren't supposed to be able to remove them. If it's off the pen, the pen is broken. The first step is to contact the service department at Chartpak. Their service tech, Abi, is really good and very helpful. If they can't help you, I have a repair for the pens that is as strong as the original.
