They are traveling ink bottles in bakelite... marbled brown-redish, very practical when traveling.

They were hard too find but some were offered through e bay recently and I could not resist them.

So they are probably vintage, right? These days for travelling I use the 30ml bottles which come with diamine inks.

Everything is impermanent.

Indeed, based on quality/price ratio.

I did a little effort. Here is diamine Teal in a 80ml Diamine bottle. The pen is a M205 Pelikan. The notebooks are muji for the small one and I can't read the name of the other one (it's in japanese...).

I'll admit to having bought two bottles of these inks just for the bottle. The red was so lousy, I refused to use it in a pen or share it. The purple had interesting sheen, but is a stainer.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Some of my ink bottles...

What a beautiful vintage collection!

Some biscuits? Yum-yum!

In most cases there are only sewing accessories in these, but this is even better than biscuits

I see a fantastic Pelikan travelling inkwell with a Pelikan 112 in a marvellous giftbox!!!

Would it be too much asked to post an additional picture of this? I have never seen one like this.

To be honest, I don't have seen any Pelikan gift boxes in real life at all. I only have a vintage advert of a different gift box.

JeanManuel,

The spherical bakelite bottles are from the early thirties...

brgmarketing,

Your bottles are simply delicious...!!!

Kawuska,

Jealous of your advertisement of the prewar Pelikan Gdansk offer !!!

Christof,

Originally the box was not in very good shape but a friend who knows about restoration made a pretty good job.

Yours are not bad at all, more boxes will come to you since you keep on looking for them...

Here are a couple of images....

Best, Ariel

That is one amazing set there!

I haven't taken a photo of my new Sailor beauties yet, but here is a little Pelikan art work I've found online:
