I have four Naginata nibs, only one of them with the Emperor.

While I like the special overfeed (I actually find it esthetically pleasing), I came to the conclusion that it`s a rather bonus affair: I really can`t say that it writes wetter/has better ink flow than without the Emperor.

 

Therefore I`d recommend not spending the extra 100 bucks (retail) on this feature (exception being that you happen to like the look of it).

Interesting. I'm not sure where I could try all the Sailor specialty nibs out, but that may be the way to go to see it for myself before just buying and not liking it.
