Alas, no return of the T1:

"the integral 18-carat gold nib..."

 

Well ... "integral" is some kind of stretch, since being a different material precludes the clear simple meaning.

If "integral" means the gold is welded to the titanium, that's a whole new and fascinating ball game.

If it's just an assembly, ho hum.

 

In either case, I'm disappointed that the years since the Parker T1 haven't revealed a way to attach hard tipping to titanium reliably.

I have a tiny sliver of hope now that using solid gold as an intermediate may be that way.

It is an interesting pen. I think it would be a show piece. I wonder if the nib can be changed out.
