Help Me About My First Mb 146 Fp

This is my first MB fontain pen. I bought it as second hand item from Ebay.

It is quite new but I have a nib creep problem. While writing a droplet of ink comes up the surface of the nib and immadiately whicked back into the feed living a stain behind. I tried it twice with both MB Black and with Aurora Black ink. It happens more with MB ink when compared with Aurora Black. I flushed and cleaned the pen before inking.

I called MB Service in Turkey about the problem before seeing the pen we can't say anything exactly they said.

Except these what can I do what can the reason for it? Kind regards.

Pretty normal. Don't worry, be happy. You can try different inks if you want but it is nothing to worry about.

used same inks with my Pelikan m400 and there is no problem.

Also very normal. It's not a problem. Different nibs behave differently.

There is no issue.

Some nibs exhibit nib creep regardless of make or model. I have Pelikans that have nib creep and Pelikans that don't.

Nib creep depends on the specific nib and often specific ink.

May be damage creating a channel for ink to get to the surface of nib. None of my pens have this. I had a used Omas that did ths, and i sold it with full disclosure.

I have had multiple pens "creap" as described (MB, Omas, Waterman). Many sources (+1 to Jar) reports this as normal.

Nathan Tardiff of Noodler's fame even teases about the concept in his "creaper" line of pens. See his videos for further confirmation.

"Well, at least being into pens isn't a gross habit. Like smoking or whatever."

"Ahh, thanks?"

Glad it worked out. Enjoy your 146, they are really nice pens.
