Lamy Studio Fountain Pen - Royal Red (Limited Edition)

My first Pen-Crush! I was on the Goulet Pen site to get some sample vials so I would be prepared for the turn at the PIF threaqd and as usual I spent extra time looking at pens. Now, I confess that many times I see people write about how wonderful different pens ate (say a Mont Blanc maybe) and I think how nice it would be to have a fine pen like that. But even when I look at them just to window shop I have not felt that Pen-Crush feeling. But the Lamy Studio Fountain Pen - Royal Red made me feel it. Just look at the super cute propeller shaped clip!

I don't know how long the LE version of this red is available, but I know what I will be asking for for Christmas - money so that I can pool it all together and hopefully get me one of these super beautiful pens!

Here is a picture (and a link to the pen on the Goulet Pen Co, site) - this picture is not mine - it belongs to Goulet Pen Co. (along with the Lamy Studio Fountain Pen - Royal Red (Limited Edition) pen that I hope will one day be mine!):

I have one. They are great pens with very nice nibs. The Gold nibs are very soft (especially in the M) and glide across the paper. They are awesome pens and I am thinking of buying another one.

They are pretty nice. Good balance. Its got a red/orange look that the goulet photos dont really capture.

Oh, it didn't look red-orange to me. I guess if I saw it in person I might not have as much of a pen-crush on it since I'm truly not fond of orange. I prefer reds with blue undertones rather than orange undertones. Well, that makes me kinda sad - kinda like discovering the guy I was crushing on is a smoker with a bad attitude and a foul mouth. :(
