Counting to see that they're all there?

I must say I always enjoy seeing your photos because the dog is SUCH a cutie!  And as a cat person saying that, that should mean something.

~ @inkstainedruth:

Diji is deeply flattered.

He's cat friendly, as are many Pekingese.

Wants to make friends with any cat he encounters.

Those Montblanc Meisterstück 149s interest him, but not to the point of wanted to tste them.

Not much in the way of savory odors from a canine perspective.

I'm afraid to let my new doggy near my beloved pens.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

~ @amberleadavis: Congratulations on your new doggy!

Perhaps over time dog and pens may become acquainted.

Having a canine friend in 2022 will bring special joy.

I have a two year old cat, and the only way he will get a chance to connect with my pens is to take his little paw and push the pen/ink bottle/pad or sheet of paper off onto the floor.  I tried to take a photo of him with my new $$$$ Montblanc and had to stop when he reached for it with "the paw".  Thank goodness capped ink bottles bounce when they hit a carpeted floor!  Maybe I'll try again when he gets older and less pushy, in another 10 or 15 years.

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

Can you share a photo of your new doggy some day, when you feel like it?

@Misfit this was him around the 4th of July. He was scared of the fireworks and jumped up on the 5ft tall brick wall.  He's about 200lbs.

You are welcome. As you can see, he is a tiny little thing.

Oh yes, he is tiny. However did you find a collar for him?

Do you think that Diji was a cat in a previous life?

Long time no one showed their dogs or cats... Since it always makes me happy to look at pet pictures, I will show you a picture of Joy, my 2 year old boxer. She is full of energy, but not at all interested in fountain pens. I am happy about that. 😁

Here is my helper Zippy. He is more interested in  spots in the sun but not so much fountain pens. He does like paper tho.
