It looks like you need to teach Flossie to do the dishes. She is certainly tall enough!

She would certainly lick them them clean. She’s actually just a little larger now

Years ago, my old SCA group ran our first event. It was on private property, and the owners of the land owned a St. Bernard called Sebastian. We nicknamed him "Sebastian the Puppy Beast". At one point during the tournament, the fighters stopped because they weren't sure what Sebastian was going to do (he came bounding up to see what was happening....

He was a nice dog, but he had the habit of wanting to, well, lean into people. My now-husband came out from Pittsburgh to help with the event, and said that he was afraid that Sebastian would lean into him from the *front* -- and that his knees didn't bend that direction....

“Someone” looks all tuckered out.

Nevertheless, a wonderful writing companion.

Thank you for posting the lovely portrait.

Simon almost always joins me when I write. It was early this morning and he was still not fully awake.

If Yubi reads that, it'll mean Daddy will need to return to the ink store for Edelstein.

Not a bad idea, actually. :)

That's an all-too-familiar look.

Early mornings tend to be that way.

Yubi kisses my toes while I write at 3:30 am here.

He has his way of direct encouragement.

Greetings to Simon!

I don't have any photos to post of my late dog, Winston, but the photos posted by others made me smile and remember that he was the love of my life and I miss him so much! Thanks to everyone here who loves dogs and cats and shares their photos with the community.

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

Don't know if I've posted this photo of Łapa here (probably over at fpgeeks), but it's one of my favorites. This was while on a day trip to Kłodzko and Bardo Ślaśkie (trains and bicycles) Spring of last year.
