Well, that is a relief to know the repair looks better than the original. Most repairs (not from Japanese artists) are not so artistic! Gorgeous pen.

One of the best reviews I've read. A lovely tail () and I love the paw prints on the section. It's obviously a great writer as well as fabulous beauty.

Fantastic review. I'm most impressed with the string technique and the first time I've heard of it. Beautiful!!!

I'm happy your Christmas present brought you love and happiness.

The imperfection makes the pen all the more desirable ... like the moon.

That darn cat. Such an innovative, one of a kind, win win solution. Enjoy your new string rolled Enjoying the Moon Cat! http://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

eta: I just noticed - the cat is looking up at the string (and the moon).

Don't laugh, BUMP!

Following 3 threads was like a movie!

I am considering the Piccolo with similar but different. (I saw it on a website a while ago and am hoping for the best)

Anyway, as heartbreaking as that fateful fall was, their remedy was astonishingly good. I have to think the person who made and no doubt "reinterpreted your pen," must have enjoyed using such skills uniquely and with beautiful result.

So, how many Nakaya pens do you have now? :lticaptd:
