The topic title explains my question. I do what most do, use reusable cartridges. Thoughts anybody?

I think there is a mini slide converter that is about the size of a short international cartrudge not inclucing the pull out slide. AIR, they fit.

I can't remember who was selling them or what they were called, but they were pretty popular a couple of years ago.

(I think it was Tryphon Enterprises, but my link is dead.)

YMMV

I have found the mini slide converter to not fit on the newer Kawecos despite some older claims to the contrary. There is a video linked from another thread that shows how to make your own converter from an old cartridge with a #18 sac and some orange shellac. Takes 5 minutes and is absolutely brilliant.

Yep. A new aerometric converter that fits all the Sports models. It's sold out on jetpens but I'm including one in this listing: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/classifieds/item/19258-kaweco-al-sport-f-nib-new-converter/

I have the Monteverde and Rossetta Mini converters (identical) and neither fit my Sports or any other of my pens that takes international cartridges, though every time this subject comes up there seems to be at least one commenter that vouches that the Monteverde converter fits, so maybe they had variations between productions?

Well, Fontoplumo makes an actual thing called the "KaweConverter". I bought one for my AL Sport and it's great. Does exactly what it says it does (and it's cheap).

That's the one I mean, but I don't think Fontoplumo makes it because it's sold in several places in Europe and through Jetpens in the States (I got mine through Seitz-Kreuznach on ebay; great store), leading me to believe it's an actual Kaweco product. To be honest, I haven't even tried it because I got the supplies to do the bulb conversion in a trade. It looks like it will hold a decent amount for the size but there's still a lot of space left in the barrel. Hoping to remedy that with the conversion!

Thanks all. Both Jetpens and The Dutch are out of stock. That said, I will use one of my other 29 pens.
