Mini-Converter For Montblanc Mozart (114)

I was more planning to buy a 144, but I found this little pen for $100 new so I ended up purchasing it.

Now the question becomes: what options do I have for a mini-converter for this thing? Preferably one that doesn't look like cheap plastic :D but I'll make do if I have to.

Not aware of a converter for the Mozart. Nevertheless, if you would find one or make one easy to reproduce, do not forget posting it here...

100.00 is a great price for the Mozart. I love using mine. Enjoy your pen!

Have you tried the converter for the kaweco sport if that works?

One of my favorite pens. I am not aware of a converter that will fit it, however. I use the old syringe/empty cartridge trick. ;)

Great price on a wonderful little pen. I hacked up a mini converter to work in mine a couple of years ago but it didn't hold as much ink as the cartridge so I went back to the cartridge and syringe technique. Hope you enjoy the little pen.

I saw a photo of a modified monteverde mini converter that was used for the Mozart

Richard Binder also sells the Templar mini piston converter that just might fit

Any converter you could modify to use in a Mozart will charge a very little quantity of ink. I also use the old syringe/empty cartridge trick.

Another case of solving a problem that no one knew existed :) .

:D After I saw the original date of this thread I didn't feel quite so bad about not being able to find a Mozart for anywhere near $100

I've got one and it sits in a pocket diary wallet. Not a very useful pen, too small and the section tends to unscrew when you try to unscrew the cap. However I know some people love them.

I am currently watching some that are available on eBay for a reasonable price. :D I want a pen that fits into a small pencil case that stays in my bag. This fits the bill. :)

Well the 114 will be ideal. They write well as you would expect but the main problem is the tendency for the barrel to unscrew from the section when you try to unscrew the cap. Don't screw the cap on too hard and nine times out of ten it will be OK. I still find that, if the pen is unused for a few days, the problem recurs. They are far too small for my taste but in a pocket organiser they serve the purpose.

This thread is actually so fitting today - a friend of mine just found this pen in storage and asked me to identify it. She no longer has the original cartridge and wants to fill it with bottled ink, so thank you mhsvz for the link! :D
