A Weird One: The Sweating P51 Sac

Now I have a weird one for all of you:

I recently bought a navy grey Aerometric filling P51 mk2.
Somewhere along it's lifespan, the pli-glass sac was replaced by a latex sac.
After cleaning it, in the fashion described in the pinned topic, I used it for a week with Sailor Gentle grenade. Not a single problem.
I cleaned it again, and since two weeks filled it up with MB Friendship.

And now it gets weird: It is like the sac is sweating.
What I mean by that is everytime I use my pen for a while, a sort of mist appears on the sac in the ribbed bar hole. This mist is barely visible to the naked eye, but when I wipe the sac with a tissue, some blue clearly transfers.

Anyone have any idea what this is ?

I can't account for the blue part.

 

But,

 

IF for example, you were carrying the pen in a pocket or where it was next to your body it could attain a similar steady state

temperature as your body while there of around 100 F. (- a bit) Now, if you happened to be storing your ink somewhere

where is was very cool, I could see the "sweating" being temperature related such as that which forms on a warmer glass

when cooler liquid is poured into it.

 

That's just a pure SWAG though.

The sweating is most likely a temp related thing as Bruce described. Going from a hot outside temp to an air conditioned environment could cause it. The blue is possibly the remnants from an old spill if you can't find that the pen is leaking. A little ink can go along way.
