I'd grab a fistful of originals, myself, and just syringe 'em full. Seems like that would be less prone to ink-in-lap syndrome, as long as you watch them carefully for cracks!

I did this as well with some old carts from the bay. They gave an interesting blue when I added water to them to make up the two thirds that had gone missing. The other fixes are still also working well in two other TRZs.

A Monteverde mini converter plus several rounds of teflon tape make a very snug fit ​ ​with the Sheaffer TRZ ​. Works fine.

 

Thanks Joso, I'll give that a try. I'm already using teflon tape on my Slim Targa. The previous pen owner messed up the barrel/section threading trying to use standard international cartridges in it. I wrap teflon tape around the section threads to tighten things up a bit. What other uses for teflon tape on Slim Targa's are there?! : )
