Navajo Turquoise is FANTASTIC stuff :D Even if it's not a match for the ink you're looking for, it's worth a buy!

Thanks. I think it will be my next blue ink purchase - trouble is I have a heap already - including Diamine Havasu Turquoise and a large bottle of Turquoise from The Writing Desk.

There is a good selection of swabs of turquoise coloured inks here - http://www.thewritingdesk.co.uk/showproduct.php?brand=&cat=ink&subr=turquoise - but unfortunately it doesn't include Navajo Turquoise.

Out of curiosity, is Diamine Turquoise the same as Havasu Turquoise? I have some carts that are just called "Turquoise", not "Havasu Turquoise", and they look basically the same.

I don't actually have Diamine Turquoise, but I do have Turquoise sold and branded by The Writing Desk and it is supplied by Diamine. So it probably is the same as Diamine Turquoise but I can not attest to it.

TWD Turquoise and Diamine Havasu Turquoise are similar but not the same.

TWD (Diamine) Turquoise is a very standard turquoise - it appears to be true cyan in the CMYK world. But Havasu Turquoise has some brighter blue in it which lifts it a bit. I find the TWD Turquoise a tad boring (I bought it for mixing), but I love the extra oomph that is found in Diamine Havasu Turquoise (more like Navajo Turquoise).

Hope that helps.

My color vision is defective, but the Goulet swabs of Noodler's Navajo Turquoise and Noodler's Turquoise Eel look approximately the same to me. Am I seeing that right, or do they look noticeably different to most people?

Recently a friend gave her entire stash of pens/inks. This stash included a number of NOS and partly evaporated cartridges, and some of them were Skrip peacock blue.

I've added water to them and they write fine, but my supply is not infinite. What ink would make the best 'ringer' of Sheaffer peacock?

So, I'd say Visconti Turquoise.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).
