Beautiful pen, ink, and handwriting! Use it in good health!

I've always wanted to get a Ramses II, I personally think it is the nicest variation on a MB 146.

Very nice pen. Thank you for sharing.

I find the gold vermeil finish on this pen very deep and rich in colour.

Use it in good health.

That's surely because I write with the tip of the nib not being parallel to the line I'm writing. The writing sample is also quite big, if I write smaller characters the width becomes more obvious.

I love BB nibs and I can assure you that this one is noticeably wider than my other BBs, which was a very nice surprise as the pen came back.

Thank you for the very nice review.

Your love for BB nibs makes me smile.

This review was especially enjoyable to read.

After much waiting and watching, one popped up in the FPH Backroom today, and Jimmie put is aside for me.

Can't wait to see it!

You are going to love it.

A very classy and endearing pen.

I have a hard time putting it down when it comes into rotation.

Congratulations,

I saw a couple of days ago someone post on the official FPN Facebook page that he had acquired one of these (he claimed he was mugged by 7 polite German guys in suits and woke up holding the pen, but I didn't really believe him).

Since the photo links in the OP of this thread (from 2013) are apparently expired, anyone can look there for a couple of photos.

Not sure, but from the size of the nib and the writing behind it, I would hazard a guess at an Italic BB.

Hey @Paul-in-SF, that guy who got mugged was me. Sorry - I just saw this post today....I apologize for not responding sooner. As for the story about the 7 polite Germans, it was completely true - that's my story, and I'm sticking to it! 🙂

By the way, here is my Ramses II.....

Glad there were no scratches during the mugging.
