This pen was the result of a collaboration with maker John E. Brady and came about because I thought the FPN LE Passaporto was just a little too short and took too many turns to post.I wanted a pen that was comfortable for long notes without posting, but could post quickly for long writing sessions.

 

John had developed his PFP and I asked about some small adjustments, and here it is.

 

John was very thorough,and I was surprised at how much detail he went into before attempting the pen.

All that detail must have been useful because this pen is almost perfect!

 

I have had the pen for about a month and it performs as intended. John used a four-point thread(I think this is what it is called) so when I need to post it is done with minimum turns. The barrel is about 1/4 inch longer than the Passaporto and when posted this pen is just about 5 5/8 inch.

 

The material is "Carrot" and it is one of those you just have to see to appreciate, but if you like browns, blacks, golds and oranges this stuff is amazing.

This is my first fully custom pen but won't be my last.
