Hemingway / Seamaster / Seahorse

This is to celebrate the unbelievable gift I received from my wife, an Omega Seamaster Aqua terra Chronograph 2512.30.00! It is simply a dream. I can not stop to admire it…

So I put at work my Montblanc Hemingway, filled with Toffee Brown ink, and I created a Seamaster seahorse, dedicated to my beloved wife and to my Omega.

The Toffee Brown has so many shadows, varying from almost red to almost black, with all the nuances between.

And the blue hands and markers of the Aqua Terra have so many shadows, varying from a clear sky blue to almost black, with all the nuances between…

Amazing drawing, and great pen & watch!! :notworthy1:

Currently using:Too many pens inked to list, I must cut back! :) I can guarantee there are flighters, urushi, and/or Sheaffer Vac-fillers in the mix!!!

Toffee Brown must be my undisputed favourite brown ink. Especially if it used in this way. One of your very best drawings.

Enjoy the watch (and the pen) for many years to come!

Cheers,

Peter

As we are known here for our straight opinions:

- the Hemmingway was never on my list - to me it was always something like... boring?

- the AT Chrono in that version was in the same area - small caliber, big watch. I do not like that combination. In fact, I actually wait for the fair at Basel to see the new AT Chrono with the 9300-caliber. Because in general the AT-series is nice, I actually wear a three handed "Golf" with the 8500

- But when I see what you create with your hands, I would give away my pen-collection together with my watch-collection (and both are normally not "give-aways") to earn the same level of artistic craftmanship. That seahorse is magnificent.
