Another great "JoCo" song...

Song Trivia:

"The song is written from the view of Charon, Pluto's moon. Because Charon is almost half the size of Pluto, the two do not have a traditional orbit where the small body basically moves around the center of the large body. Rather, both Pluto and Charon revolve around a point between them (the barycenter), like a bola or a spinning pair of skaters. In addition, the two celestial objects are tidally face-locked, meaning they keep the same "face" towards each other ("like dancers", according to Jonathan's blog of the song)."

So, what'd you think?

I was hoping to have time to post a written reply but I'm traveling and it just hasn't worked out. I love the piece - a Capella is a favorite of mine ever since my son started singing 20 years ago and this piece is a fantastic example. Great voice!

I love memory techniques and all that jazz. However, I like Dominic O'Brein's approach on it better. (They're just about identical, though) and his books are superior, in my opinion. If anyone wants to take a little time a day and practice, you can use it for really fun things. I like it for practical purposes, not so much "memorizing cards or big numbers". Memorizing names instantly and lists of items are the more useful practical applications for me. As well as creating a mental "calendar" so you never forget anything coming up that you need to do.

Got one of these beautiful pencils about a week ago. The quality is amazing. completely made of metal, nice and heavy. the grip feels awesome and the retractable tip is great, saves it from bending in your pocket. Very happy :) The picture isn't mine. If you guys want more pictures I can take some later :P

Oh boy this can't be good... I just installed the SwiftKey Flow keyboard on the Samsung tablet I'm using right now, and let me tell you...I'm literally flying through this post!

All I have to do is move my finger from letter to letter instead of hitting each key.

SwiftKey is pretty darn good, I must say. I wish I had a good android device... I have an iPad, and my silly little HTC HD7. The sad part about the HD7 is I had to hack it to get the latest OS version for it :P

Glad you're enjoying it! Have you looked into any interesting handwriting apps or something for the tablet? They have some really nice ones that, when used with a stylus, are my favorite way to take notes if I have to digitize everything after. I'm usually too lazy to scan everything into a .pdf or something...

Ooooh. The road not taken is one of my favorite poems. I doubt it's ever been written prettier with a (cringe) ballpoint.

I can see the sticky blobs of BIC ball pen ink on your page and it makes me like my fountain pens even more.

Cool writing, maybe you can get a job doing manuscripts for constitutional conventions !!?!! I understand Myanmar is possibly going to re-do theirs in the near future.
