When I was teaching if we assigned papers it was MANDATORY they be done in APA format. As a result, I rarely assigned papers. We had a couple of faculty members who I would call APA Nazis in terms of the formatting...

 

As far as I was concerned if it had the basics of APA I was fine with it - I was more concerned with content.

Real men use black rocks and white rocks and draw computers on beaches in binary. They first simulate the entire universe, then simulate the world, then a computer and then vi, and THEN they start to simulate the code. In binary of course, on the beach, with rocks, uphill both ways wink.gif

I used to know some of the old emacs commands. Then I started using Apple computers and semi-real design/typesetting software....

I think I won't show my husband this thread. He really *likes* using emacs.... Of course he also likes bright colored lettering on black screens when he's writing code, so go figure.
