Sorry, I forgot Shaw :( I know that Wilde wrote plays, Balzac did it, too. But they are not famous only for their plays.

Cant decide whether to start using my Swift or sell it as I need a holiday!

Hmm...

How much do you think to get for the pen?

It is still a new edition and it is still global available.

I think you won't get more than 70-80% of the retail.

Would you let it go for that price?

We all know what the Swift looks like.

This thread is about THIS years pen, not you trying to raise money for a holiday!

Sorry could not copy the pics and paste it here.

So here is the link. It shows more details of the cap and a good pic of the nib.

I am a huge fan of that pen cap

That little gold accent really does it for me, but the overall the pen I'm not a huge fan of

Thats funny....Its the little gold accent that is killing me. I think the rest of the pen is quite attractive.

In order to appreciate the sweet, you must truly taste the bitter....

+1

This band is currently the only part of the pen I'm not sold on - I bet this bit it looks better in the flesh. I love two tone nibs - this is the first on a WE pen since 2007's Faulkner and before that the Fitzgerald in 2002.

Here's hoping it will only be approximately a month until it is available - both my fingers and toes are crossed.

Great photo - many thanks for this. I'm looking forward to seeing the set in person shortly.

I like the taper of the section and that it doesn't have the flanged plastic normally found on MBs. The major turnoff for me, is the blind cap design. It looks awkward IMO.

The pen I write with, is the pen I use to sign my name.

I prefer that on my Brahms to Meisterstück pens.

The shape reminds me of Pelikan M640s - Northern lights etc. The outward curve of the body instead of straight lines.
