Hey everyone, I gave this it's own thread but I did some touch ups and I thought I'd post it here as well to give it more exposure. I've been teaching myself italic for a couple years now, not too shabby for a lefty, if I do say so myself! This was my first time working with gouache, which was lots of fun! I'll definitely be using more of it in the future.

This is really nice work.

Beautiful work as always ken. (Still loving the dvd by the way)

No one is born hating another person because of the colour of their skin their background or their religion. People must learn to hate and if they can learn to hate they can be taught to love for love comes more naturally to the human heart than it's opposite.

Hello Ken...I guess it's no secret that I am very happy that you are back!

I've missed your expertise and your fabulous pen work. Everyone did.

Most of all, we just missed YOU, sir.

So glad to see you here again!

Thanks, Brian (MusinkMan). It's good to be back.

During the past three months, I received many messages of support, and after giving it much thought, I decided to gird my loins, bite the bullet, rejoin the fray and have another go :)

Aloha Ken,

And thanks for coming back!

Although members in Penmanship may be very passionate about the subject, I want to remind all that this is a friendly salon, a place to share and not argue. Those wishing to fight will have to take it outside, and we have (well mannered) bouncers here that will see to it.

So no need to gird loins. Looking forward to seeing more of your inspiring work here.

Many thanks, Doug - much appreciated.

I'd also like to thank Wim for his technical assistance and patience in enabling me to reinstall the many images I had posted in the last seven years.
