Interesting pen, thanks for the review.

The function principle seems for me to be the same like in an indian ink pen for engineering drawing (Radiograph/Isograph).

Is this correct?

It's the American version of the Rotring Tintenkuli. Most are lever fill.

The difference between a drawing pen and Inkograph/Tintenkuli is that the point is rounded for writing. The drawing pen has a flat point.

@Uncle Red

Hope you never paid this much for the pen:

Amazing how the price of them has shot up in the last couple of years.

Thanks for clarification.

I think a drawback of this function principle is that it gives you no springiness and line variability at all.

I drawed 25 years ago with such drawing pens on transparent paper and never liked it.

Yep, the technical pen is a desendant of this pen and I'll bet they were no fun. This is a plesant writer but Pterodactylus is right, it's a nail. That was a selling point in the days of carbon paper since you can press very hard and there's no chance of springing the nib. BTW, I can write with it at a normal angle, it doesn't have to be straight up and down like a technical pen.

Whych, I did not pay anywhere near that much, maybe I should put mine on Ebay.... nah.
