I am not so sure on its age. The seller mentions the cap difference but the above pictures show the older clip cap.

It looks very similar to the long and fine heart-hole nibs. It might be a bit finer, but the line with of my long/fine nibs without pressure is 0.2mm, which is also extremely fine.

The shading blocks were the sort of things we were made to do in art school. We did them in pencil, generally, since a large number of my classmates were intimidated by the permanence of an ink line. One could get extra credit for working in ink, and I frequently did because I liked ink.
