Amazing - we're going to need shades to keep viewing this thread!

I'm curious how the feed/nib arrangement works and fits together on that custom nib?

Here are some pics of the Kaweco Sport highlighter nib that Nathan Tardiff created a number of years ago. The nib is 6.5mm wide; the O-rings you see in the third picture help seal the barrel for use as an ED filler. He took these pictures for me before he sent the pen; using Noodler's highlighter ink (of course!):

I use a BB nib with Noodler's Firefly ink. I refill a cartridge with a syringe and it makes a good little highlighter. Its not as broad a nib as shown in previous posts but I find the gold tone nibs work more consistantly than the silver italic nibs.

please can someone post a photo showing the oring disposition in the kaweco eydropper from nathan tardiff?

Hi, there are two O-rings at the base of the section, as can be seen in the photo. These keep the ink from migrating from the barrel toward the section threads, and are supplemented by silicone grease. There is a third O-ring that can't easily be seen - it is at the top of the feed, just inside the section, and this prevents ink from migrating from the section to the joint where the feed is inserted into the section. I have added a little silicone grease here, as well. I hope that answers your question. :)

Thank you very much!

I've had my red Ice Sport filled with Diamine Red Dragon for almost a year. No staining in the transparent barrel that I can see,
