Fattest Pen Ever?

The Tombow Zoom 848 'Egg' pens used to be available as fountain pen as well as a rollerball. I've seen them show up on ebay from time to time.

 

Thanks, Ned! I didn't know this one too. There's so much I don't and should (!) know. I will watch for this pen on ebay. Maybe I will be lucky to find a fountain pen version.

I have one! It's one of the first 'real' fountain pens I bought, back when lots of art supplies catalogues offerd them.

 

Wonderful pen.

I thought of the Tombow "egg" pen right away when I saw this thread. Wish I'd bought the fountain pen when I first saw it - especially now that I have some arthritis in my thumbs! A thicker pen really is easier to hold for a longer time when you've got achey hands.
