And don't advertise it as BRITISH Racing Green because Montblanc did not release a colour of that name. They called it MB Racing Green.

$140 for a bottle of MB Racing Green seems exorbitant. I thought I was paying a lot at $40, but if I could sell it for $140 i would certainly do it. I imagine I will be using it instead.

I have an extra, full bottle that I bought when they announced the discontinuity. I would feel shameful selling it on this forum for any more than $30.

I guess that means I'd sell it on ebay.

And before any PMs show up, it's not for sale.

And why even bother with MBRG when we now have the wonderful JS Seaweed Green?

About the same as a grease-proofed, oiled and waxed, unused, short-barrelled .303 Lee Enfield. Priceless.

To those that are really bothered.

Think I'll stick to Diamine Racing Green.

Mauser 7.62 anybody?

The box to my bottle calls it "English Racing Green."

$140 a bottle?? :yikes:

I bought (their last) two bottles on a hot muggy day somewhere in South East Asia because they ran out of blue black, for $8 each. Sumgai? :hmm1:

It doesn't look like they have actually sold one at that price. Some of the other substitutes are attractive. I think it was impulsive for me to pay $40 for a bottle of MB Racing Green. What was I thinking?

I have both MBRG and the Swift Seaweed green ink...I like MBRG better, but the Swift is nice. I'm heading to the local boutique soon...maybe I'll pick another one up!

In Jakarta. I bought the whole lot, and then had called other boutiques but no more, especially the new ones.

As much as I love this ink, I reckon it's not worth paying crazy prices. From Sam Capote's swab, Diamine's homage should be good enough for me.

Would a 9-mm version suffice instead? (My D version instead of a MB one does, although I have both).
