Waterman Le Man

This is a Brand New Boxed Waterman Le Man 100 or Waterman Le Man 200 according to the enclosed card included in the box. I will post a picture of the card below. How do you determine which model it actually is? Also, the color is a little bit allusive. It looks black/green but it also looks like a green marble. Any idea as to the current value of this pen? I know I spent several hundred on this about 8 or 9 years ago.

Thank You

To me, is seems to be a Man 200 Mineral green.

While the pictures aren't really clear, it does look like a LeMan 200 Rhapsody Mineral Green. I have one and enjoy the depth of colors that Waterman did with the Rhapsody Mineral series: Green, Blue and Red. Does anyone know what the body of the pen is made from? My guess would be acrylic, like the Parker Duofold Centennials, but it could be resin (anyone know the difference)?

No doubt, this is the Man 200 Altuglass mineral green. For me, the most beautiful of the series of Man 200….. The material is the altuglas (Polymethyl Methacrylate, PMMA) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poly(methyl_methacrylate)

Except for the black, the version of Man 200 and Man 100 are different, so it is easy to know if it is one or other.

A Man 100 is approximately 145 mm closed, a Man 200 about 141 mm. The nib are differents.

For the price of a FP Man 200, it depends of its condition: near mint, mint, NOS.... if the short section is in good condition or oxidized (the weak point of Man).

Best wishes to all

man 200 as xof and nath said

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time
