I have two slim Targas, but only one converter; I am saving up for more :blink:

 

But then Wing Sung made a slim one too, the 238 I think.

 

See if you can find a pack of cartridges. They are still about and can easily be refilled with a syringe.

At the higher end of one's price range I's second the Caran d'Ache Ecridor, though being all metal it is a bit heavy and at the lower end I'd suggest a Sailor HighAce Neo.

I, too, recommend the Sheaffer Targa slim fountain pen. I bought mine when they came out in the 1980's; it is almost too slender for me but the wonderful inlaid nibs Sheaffer put on their Targa pens, including their slim models, makes it a keeper. I am still looking for a full size Targa like this beauty (in their Blue Lacque finish - mechanical pencil, too):

Not sure what your budget is - right now there is a chrome Sheaffer Targa slim on eBay for a Buy It Now price of $75; it comes with a converter, too, and has a fine nib. (On the other hand, though you want a fine nib, there is this really nice Sheaffer Targa slim, gold, with a lovely stub nib that I would love to have - except it is approx. $220.)

 

Looks as if folks are giving you plenty of choices. I do hope you let us know what you end up getting and how you like it!
