Nice nib! Based on it, the pen seems to be from the 1980's. The model 400 was never available with that nib.

The M400 nib has the width in italics, but this one doesn’t.  It’s a 1960s nib.

Yesterday, I went to my local bookstore - The Writers' Block - and had lattes and croissants with my son and (ex) husband. I bought this Kaweco Perkeo calligraphy pen and we sat down and wrote out what we are grateful for.  I can't express how much that time brought me feelings of success, happiness and gratitude.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

That is an inspiring way to spend a day - simple pleasures! And I think the pen qualifies too, I really enjoy my Perkeos because I find them comfortable to hold and reliable.

What I would really like is a way to get extra caps and barrels to have all three calligraphy nibs from the set as full pens (without having to buy three sets!)

Will work for pens...

I admit, I came back and tried to see if the nib set would fit on any of my other pen barrels.  So for no luck.

My newest pen, naturally with a stub nib. Stub nibs rule!

Not only is a great stub, but the ink makes the pen look even more cheerful!

Did you open it during the SpaceX launch?

While I don't use red ink or pens, this seems a doppelgänger to my normal set up!  I have a strange attachment to the dot matrix journals.  Enjoy! Looks like you are well-equipped.

This new to me pen, was a gift from Paul. While it is not a stub, it is flexy and sort of stubby.  I really like it.

I am planning a purchase of a pen that has some flex to see if I like it.  I do like my bouncy Sailor nibs, but those are far from stubs.

Most of my Leuchtturm notebooks are lined. The one in my photo was the only one I bought at a store. I also have one in the red dots version that I haven’t started. It took me awhile to buy red pens. But since my Dad died last August, and his favorite color was red, it’s to honor him. I like red too. I have the (product)Red iPhone, mainly to help, a bit, disease in Africa.

Just put a M calligraphy nib on a white Pilot Prera. With 4 inks never used to choose from, I chose the oldest of them. I got the Pelikan Edelstein Tanzanite in a drawing at the 2019 Pelikan Hub.

I remember those... :(

I felt a pang for the days before COVID when I posted that. Pelikan is so nice to have the hubs, and give away ink.  Here’s hoping.

There will be meet-ups again. after all the turmoil and pest that saddens us right now. We need to make it through this, even if it is by using the stoic "this, too, will pass!"

Getting out my thoughts on paper with cheery colours and nice stubby nibs as well as seeing all your beautiful photographs brightens up my days and probably that of others.

Thank you all in this thread and the many others here on FPN for your entertaining, informational and beautiful posts!
