The piston sometimes sticks but can be worked loose. Swapping nibs made this a much more fun pen

surprisingly well @amberleadavis, with the bend at the tip, i think there is more contact with the underlying feed.  as an added bonus the reverse side writes like a fude.

The bent tip works well @Ted A but it does make the untipped stub a bit more sensitive to hand rotation.  as a bonus, it has become gloriously generous with ink flow yet not a gusher.  will post a front and reverse writing sample with a higher shading ink on my next fill - i am think sailor haha.

Even if you have limited pens (I don’t, yes, I’m a pen addict), there is the option to take an F nib the pen came with, and give it a glorious new stub nib.

You don't adulterate ink in your pens, do you?  If so, have you ever had problems with it sitting in the chamber for too long?
