Now that  is cool. The material and the nib. (And the choice of ink!) I had no idea a nib could have it's colour changed. It's things like that which keep this hobby fresh.

I've been looking for material like this for years.  The company that used to make it, no longer sells it to other companies.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Never had a stub nib, but I do have a Lamy Safari.  This will definitely be what I'll be looking at next.  Hope I can write as beutifully.  May I know what stub size you use?  Thanks.

All these beautiful stubs .... slowly convincing me that I should get one ..... fast.   Neil deGrasse Tyson and Figboot brought me here, by the way.  :)

Inventorying everything in my desk has been very educational.

Here is a Pelikan M200 Silver Pearls (or Gray Marbled) with a medium nib ground by Richard Binder to a 0.4 cursive italic.

What a wonderful job there and love that it’s .4.  That’s perfect for everyday writing, note-taking, etc. without being such a large script as to take up so much space.

What blue ink is that?

Regards,

Ryan

Beautiful! The pen and ink, the tiny italic nib and the handwriting. 👍

Will work for pens...

That was a fun video to watch. I’m assuming you saw that. Welcome to FPN. Lots of great stub and italic nibs out there. If you need any advice, this thread would be a good place to ask for it.

Yes!  Neil is always a joy to watch.  Thanks for the welcome.  Stubs sure look like fun.  Will really have to try one soon.

Thanks.  I was thinking 1.1 would be good enough, but seems 1.5 may be OK too.  Have to find a way to try one or the other before buying.
