Stub O' The Day

Max Dog - that looks like one awesome factory nib!

I got mine back in 2010 when Pelikan offered a special edition Italic M200 with this nib. It came in a black M200 body with a green ink window instead of the standard bluish tinted ink window of the regular M200s.

I transferred the nib over to my blue marbled M200. I believe in 2014 Pelikan offered the italic nib in the Cognac M200, again for a limited run. I think Pelikan would do well to make this italic nib a standard offering for the M2XX line. It's a nice italic/stub with good line variation, and very smooth.

Pilot 78G, inked with home brewed brown.

What an amazing cursive! So elegant, and so expressive.

Beauty ...

"... what a shovel!"

Indeed! That OMAS nib is amazing.

Is it a stock nib?

I posted these pics on another thread but they seem most appropriate here. The second pic is especially for Amberlea.

Man there are some gorgeous pens shown here, with fantastic writing. Pomperopero, you have a thing for vintage Wahl-Eversharp pens, don't you?! What a nib on that beauty! So many great entries, its hard to catch up after having been absent for a spell.

Here's a pen that unjustifiably doesn't get much play these days:

I had TWSBI with stub once. But it was gone...

Now, my new stub: new nib in Lamy (1.1), and new pen Bexley with gold, wet stub (I guess it is 1.3mm).

Wow that's amazing. I'm so glad there are nibs like this and people who know what to do with them.

Parker Ti 75, 18k #95 Stub nib

This particular model of Parker 75 was never sold to the public, it came out of the Parker Model Shop. In 1970 Parker made and sold the famed T-1 model and the next couple of years Parker sold some 75s with titanium bodies; this pen is from that era. When Parker was experimenting with titanium they also tried their hand at heat treating the Ti. A very few of these have slowly made their way into the pen world and I'm grateful to a dear friend who hooked me up with this one. The French-made #95 stub nib is a dream. Sorry for all the pictures but I have to share with someone, so you guys are stuck.
