One of my favorites of the long stubs. I like them better than the Esterbrook 312 or 313.

Turned this lil pocket guy out of an ebonite blank a couple weekends ago to keep a 1.4 Edison stub on it. Works great! Took some of the finest micromesh they sell to the nib to adjust it a bit since it was scratchy (that's an understatement, it was basically an X-acto knife) and it's butter smooth now. Not sure why, but this specific 1.4 was brutal when I first got it but the second one I bought (for my TWSBI) was fine. Who knows? Iroshizuku Kon-peki is the ink.

If you're wondering how my week is going, this is not a picture from yesterday. I wrote "Happy Tuesday" and then realized it was Wednesday.

Its ONYX, a lovely ebonite pen from Guider Pens in use today which is inked with home-brew mix of Camlin Scarlet Red and Camlin Royal Blue.

The nib on this has been replaced with Wality #8 nib which is self grind to Medium Cursive Italic.

The word of the day is : Intransigence

Very nice! Why does this make me want a glass of burgundy? (I do like your ink blend!)

One can pull the nib and feed from a Kaweco Sport Classic nib carrier and exchange it with the nib and feed from an Al-sport. There are instructions on the jetpens dot com web site. See: Kaweco Calligraphy Fountain Pen Replacement Nib - 1.1 mm - Black Body

Note that my text was written with an Al-Sport fitted with a nib taken from a Sport Classic nib carrier.

Happy writing!

Just inked up my Sheaffer Gaston Legacy 2 in lined gold with the wonderful Sheaffer stub. The pen was NOS but I am glad I finally got over the hump and inked it up.

The Sheaffer italic nibs- both steel and 18Kt - are wonderful. I have had one Sheaffer steel stub that I thought was awful, but Michael Masuyama turned it into a great cursive italic nib for me.

beautiful pen with wow handwriting....

i never knew that the stub nibs are available as regular offering....

Thank you, Vaibhav!

Information regarding Kaweco italic nib sources has been posted in previous replies. But the Bock shadow nib you have on a Kaweco Sport, I have only seen on Cult Pen's web site. It is very cool, especially with your lovely script!

One of my favorite nib, a Waterman Super Six 14k, ancestor to the Waterman Le Man 100 18k nibs. Here a OBB iteration, coming from. Waterman Strong, happily fitted in my recently arrived, blue/black ebonite ASA Nauka. This is as close to happiness as it gets... :-))post-21880-0-76052300-1468957549_thumb.jpgpost-21880-0-56524000-1468957569_thumb.jpg

Edit to add: according to dboulonnais, the Strong was produced after the first Le Man. So I am not sure if the Super 6 14k is the ancestor of the Man's 18k nib or if it is otherwise.

It's an old feed, coming from a JoWo nib unit as far as I can remember. I had to cut the feed since the Super 6 is not as long as the standard #6 nibs (Bock, JoWo, Schmidt...). I am not sure if this would work every time since I already tried the same with this nib, and the fit was not perfect: there was a (very) small space between the feed and the nib near the front end, and that caused some flow irregularities. Now it's perfect, but I am not sure why exactly.
