Very cool nib! Do you know what the "P" engraved between the "Pen" and the section signifies?

The pen is stunning.

What is the width (grade) of the nib? Is it a JoWo nib assembly?

Quite a surprise, as this nib appears to be a stock Montblanc BB, yet it behaves like a sharp stub, almost a cursive italic.

Sorry Vaibhav, this is not an awe inspiring image, just a closer cropping of my original snapshot.

This nib is kind of an "ugly duckling" that was not manufactured for very long by Montblanc. However, those folk who have a good copy of a 14c. Flügelfeder BB seem to be very happy with them. Myself included.

I actually think it's rather handsome.

Wonderful nib! I have a MB146 with a BB nib. It was very wet and stubbish. I just got it back with a re-grind to a crisp cursive italic.

I wonder if there are other stock MB nibs that have the degree of line differentiation yours demonstrates.

Anyway, congratulations on the nib and on having such generous friends!

The pen in rotation today is Wality 70 T. It is a small sized demonstrator pen which is manufactured by Airmail. And the nib is self ground at home to Fine cursive Italic.

It is inked with Krishna Forget Me Not Ink. The nib is custom grounded to Fine Cursive Italic.

Michael Masuyama did the grind. Actually, the MB nib was one of a batch of 3 nibs he customized this time. I may eventually show all of them here, but, since you requested, I will post a writing sample of the MB ASAP. (I am assuming you are wanting that, rather than a <shudder> "wring sample")

Usually I catch the typos, but not always.

Your fine "writing" sample would be preferable.
