What kind of green ink is in that Sheaffer OS flat-top above?

Many tanks!

The writing sample says Private Reserve Avocado.

Beautiful handwriting! That is the sort of writing I aspire to, and really like with finer stubs as you seem to prefer. Fantastic pens!

Loved seeing all the amazing pens on this thread (read the whole lot over the last few days). Will attempt to join in with my Sonnet later (I think its an oblique stub - don't really know it's history) despite the fact I'll have the worst handwriting on here... Ah well will try to make up for it with subject matter! Also waiting for a couple of Nib Creapers in the post and this thread has inspired me to get a stub for one of those too!

I don't own any pens with a stub nib, nor do I have a handwriting worthy of display, but I find this thread to be one of the most interesting and entertaing on this board. Please keep posting. I look forward to your additions. Thanks.

My hand is best suited to a finer nib and most of my pens are fine italics and flexibles. Although, once in a while, the mediums and stubs come out to play...

I love stub and CI nibs. I also carry a lot of pens with me every day (pen case and shirt pocket,) so every day is Day of the Stubs....

Mike, that is one of the more desired purse pen colors. Even more so if it has no cap edge cracks they are prone to get.

I would probably still post it, but gingerly.

Actually, it has a couple micro cracks in the cap. I wish I could get that one jewel closer to its original yellow, but that's not going to happen.
