Pilot Con-70 Disasssembly, Some Pics

A bit of a necro post.

 

Hari - Finally the day came when I had to lube the plunger. I was cleaning out the converter and sleeve decided to start to unscrew itself. So after reviewing your post again, I disassembeled the converter cleaned it out well and lubed the seal and voila a beautifully smooth converter loaded and ready to fulfill it's duties.

Hari,

 

Your thread helped me too. I have a con 70 the is spurting ink out the back every time I depress the plunger. Thevisible part of the inside is clear yet my whole hand is blue.

 

I was certain that I had just unscrewed another of theses apart a couple of years ago and was surprised that this one would not budge. The other came with a used pen I bought, so the thread bond must have already been broken.
