Congratulations to kb8dbr! He won the 2 Konrads.

Thank you. Looking forward to trying out some new pens and inks!

Cross ballpoint pen and pencil set, #3501, lustrous chrome:

I haven't had a chance to pay it forward since I won the beautiful pen wrap from Daisy25 a couple of months back. Now I do.

Up for grabs is a set that seems to be identical to the one at https://touch.ebay.com/tablet/item?itemId=370861317190&rd=vi

I believe this has never been used. The box has a few small stains on it and the sheet of directions is missing, but it is otherwise in great shape. The blue ink in the pen is slightly dry, but it functions; you may want to buy a replacement refill. The is no lead in the pencil, but I think it uses 7mm.

I know this isn't fountain pen related, but I hope someone here can put it to good use or regift it to someone who can enjoy it. A back to school gift for someone starting college, maybe? A new teacher? An aspiring writer?

If you would like it, please PM me with:

-Your name

-Your mailing address. (US only please.)

-If you will use it or who you may regift it to.

Just an aside about cross pens. THey are made in the town right next to mine in Lincoln, RI I've know quite a few people that have worked there. I suppose I should check out their stuff and maybe stop in and see if they have anything interesting.

any ideas?

I have a Parker Vector that I'm planning on getting rid of. It's seen a lot of use over the past couple of years, and has done very well for a cheap pen. The nib is in a good condition, and it works well. It has a cracked body though where it screws onto the rest of the pen. It still screws on alright, just can be a bit displeasing to the eye. I was planning on binning it, but someone suggested to Pay it Forward.

Anyone can have it, just send me a PM with your name and address. I'll post to anywhere in the world (from the UK), as postage won't be expensive.

PIF - Dumpster Rescued Schwag Notebooks and Ball-pens for Students

I have three black cover lined journals ( 5.5" x 8.25" ) with AAMP ( American Association of Medical Personnel ?) stamped on the cover - cream lined paper, ribbon book-mark, elastic band, and interior pocket. Each will come with a schwag ball pen of my choice.

All three have been claimed! Thanks for playing the Karma improvement game.

hot cocoa (who is fairly local to me) PIF'd me earlier this week a Platinum Preppy converted to an eyedropper along with ink samples of Blue Ghost, Bad Green Gator, Brown #41,North African Violet (all Noodler's I believe), and a couple of notebooks - an Apica CD5 and a Rhodia dotpad #12 and some other papers as well.

Here is a public thank you to her. She dropped it by one night, leaving it on the porch.

I have a 50 ml bottle of Private Reserve Sherwood Green to pif.

The ink is a recent purchase that arrived with the cap a bit loose. Only a small amount of ink was lost but the box and bottle label did get stained. I couldn't find any cracks in the cap; so, knock-on-wood, it won't happen again. The good folks at Indy-Pen-Dance (Mike & Linda) sent me a new bottle. I don't think I need 100 ml of this ink on hand...so, first to contact me via pm from the US will get it.

I get almost all my PR inks (and other inks/items) from I-P-D and recommend them highly.

Interested but not eligible. Sounds cool, though.

Same position here. I am holding off on samples though. You get just enough to get your interest up, and then no source for more...

Thanks Gump and Eeyvind for the Konrads and ink samples!

So, here's my first attempt at a PIF. The first ten people to PM me will receive four Platinum Preppy ED Conversion O-Rings. These O-Rings are the same diameter as those offered by Goulet Pens, but are a bit thicker and should be twisted on instead of being rolled on. You'll have to find your own source of silicone grease...

You can still request the sample!! :)

But what if we fall in love with the paper and can't find it anywhere else?

OK, I have two vintage (no later than 1985) Wing Sun model 233 pens that failed to sell here, and failed twice on ebay. They're both aerometrics, nice user pens in almost unused condition. I'll gladly donate them to someone who has a teen or child they want to get started on using fountain pens. I'd like to give away both at once...

Let me know by PM?

Tim
