Some of us who give PIF regularly have a policy of "no previous winners"..... to make sure everyone gets a chance to win. There is nothing wrong in announcing the lucky girl/guy who won.

Announcing the winner is entirely up to the person offering the PiF. If they don't want to publicize the recipient, they don't need to.

Only two letters so far for my Nooder's Konrad. Maybe not the most exiting offering, admittedly, but I thought I'd get some response.

So, it turns out that I'm not a flex nib writer at all. I write with nothing but my italic nibs, so having a flexible nibbed Noodler's Konrad in mottled brown means having a pen that just sits in my bag with ink drying in it.

 

Recently, I cleaned it up and thought about putting it away in case I ever want to use it again, but I think I'll be able to afford a new one in the unlikely future where I want to pull it out. So, because I don't like thing sitting around unused, I want someone to use it. Hence my third PIF do date.

 

Same as before, random drawing from entries and I want a letter, card, note, joke, or some other piece of handwritten mail as an entry. I'd prefer people who don't have a lot of pens already, and who haven't won a PIF. I'm opening a new traditional Cidery here on June 1st, and while that means nothing to you, it's exciting for me, so let's make that a deadline and I'll give something away on the day I start a new venture.

The Diamine Ink PIF is now CLOSED and I will now make the draw for the four lots. I will reply individually to everyone who expressed interest but please allow time as there are almost twenty of you to wade through. Assuming that I get a timely reply with addresses from the winners then the inks should go out via International Small Packet within the next two days.

If I don't hear from a winner within 24 hours I will pass the Lot down to one of the other interested folks.
