For a fountain pen newbie (USA only):

 

I have a Dodec fountain pen to pass along. I would like it to go to someone who has only recently started using fountain pens. It is like this one, but with a pink body. http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/dodec-fountain-pen-725432/

 

It is an inexpensive little pen with a surprisingly good nib with a teensy bit of flex to it. I like it and it writes well, but it is slightly too lightweight for me. It takes international cartridges. I like it as a good no-hassle pen that is a great way to try new inks. I will include a few cartridges in assorted colors for the winner.

-a little description about how you got started in this fountain pen world and how long ago, and

-your name and mailing address.

I would prefer to have them go to someone who is new to bottled ink, if not to fountain pens in general. (I would also like to give them to someone who has not been the recipient of a PIF yet this year -- let's give everyone a chance, okay?)

Rhodia Dotpad, Black n Red notebook, graphgear 500 mechanical pencil set, Lamy Safari clear with converter (will come with medium and fine nib), package of highlighters, and a pack of "post-it" notes...which every student needs:) The winner can pick out two 3ml samples of ink from my collection. Message me if interested and I will put names in a randomizer and select Friday.

Currently this pen resides in Germany with a friend of mine who will be helping me with this giveaway. There will be no restrictions on shipping location. Since I do PIFs to students, and will continue to do so, this will be for those of us out of school
