Same rules apply:- No previous winners, Students preferred, New FP users.

Will post Worldwide but UK/EU applicants encouraged!!

fpn_1360539540__31ngabqn9ml.jpg

I will draw this in a week.

Winners:- invisiblehats (on behalf of a college mate) and inkysloth (winner of the Jotter PIF but has elected to have the Reflex instead as the Jotter is a small pen).

This does mean that One of the Jotters is once more up for grabs.

Any further interest in the BLACK Jotter?

Hopefully those work. It is a fine, wet Guider Acrylic (with a press-bar filler). I have used it a couple times, blue inks both times, so the sac is stained purple (because that makes total sense). I'll make sure the rest of it is cleaned, shined, and as pretty as it was when I got it...which was very pretty.

Really tempted to enter this competition so I'll PM you, but in looking up the brand I stumbled across this which stopped me breathing for a few seconds. I need at least one of these.

I want you to write me a short story - 6 words or 6000, I don't care. I love stories, and I want to read yours.

You want a story?.. I'll give you a story... it'll make you cry and laugh... and ponder the meaning of life.. either that, or it will put you to sleep. :ltcapd:

he wants a horror story.

I could perhaps try one of him losing his whole collection of pens. That's bloody scary for me, despite the fact that my collection really isn't THAT big yet.

Funny thing - I actually had horror in my list of "i don't care" examples, but took it out because I really don't like horror stories and didn't want to encourage anyone in that direction. Thanks Cogs. :yikes: :crybaby:

Dark. That's all he could see through the haze of exhaustion and too many glasses of Pinot Grigio. He was convinced there were other things out there - stars, traffic maybe, even the ocean. But, he was on holidays and none of that mattered. All that mattered was that his kids were asleep in the bedroom, more family was joining him in the next 24 hours, and this was the best holiday on which he'd ever been.

Ok, I am approximately 3200 miles away from my pens, so it seems like a good time to give one away. I have been the recipient of a ton of generousity on this forum and, being on holidays, am in a dang good mood.

But, I am totally ripping off John Metta's idea. I want mail. In fact, I want you to write me a short story - 6 words or 6000, I don't care. I love stories, and I want to read yours. Fiction, non-fiction, mystery, biopic, I don't care, honestly. I want to read your stories, and to encourage this, I'll give you a pen. This pen:

If you'd like to be entered, please PM me. I'll give you my address, to which you can send your story. I will draw on April 1, 2013 from all the mail I have actually received, so don't delay.

ETA: since it's come up, you are entering by sending a story. That's the only criteria. If someone who isn't a member of this board wishes to enter, then they must send in the story (or you can send in a story and give them the pen if you win). Please include your FPN username in your story somewhere so I know it's you (if you've already sent your story in, don't fret - just let me know what it's about via PM so I can identify it properly).

Looking forward to it!

Agree with that, but I guess that's why the community here loves you so much. :roflmho:

Do sure envy you guys who've got these events! I've heard there's one in Nuremburg this year, I'll see if I can make it. I missed the one in Frankfurt. :headsmack:

On behalf of all of us here, I really thank you for your generosity!

As long as there is a discernible storyline, why not?

Here's another PIF for newer FPN members.

Three Hero 616 pens (two standard, one jumbo/doctor). They were inked a couple times, and the nibs have been smoothed. I have already flushed them, so they will arrive empty. You will need bottled ink. If you don't already have a bottle of ink, I recommend buying from GouletPens.com (not affiliated, just a big fan and satisfied customer).

Rules:

  • You must have less than 100 posts on FPN
  • You must live in the United States (I don't want to pay for international postage)

How to enter:

  • Send me a PM about a trip that took you the furthest away from home you've ever been.

I will pick a winner on February 24 around 3pm (EST) so message me soon. thumbup.gif

So here's two old Sheaffer calligraphy pens I do not want. They are NOT good starter fp's but they'd be great for someone who wants to try out calligraphy. I'd like to give both of them to the same person.

The nibs are broad and medium. The nib assemblies, from what I can tell, cannot be taken apart and adjusted (maybe someone else can find a way to do this though; I'm no expert). For this reason, they would probably be better for someone who already knows fp's and has a couple of inks with different flow properties, so you can get the wetness you desire. So, don't enter for these if you don't want to tinker.

The bodies and caps are transparent. The pens will take Sheaffer cartridges. They also seem long enough for a converter. They look like they would be really good ED's too.

Pm me with a short explanation of why you'd like these pens, if you're interested. I'll ship anywhere. All entries are welcome; but as I said they're probably better for the person with more inks, experience, and the willingness to tinker. I'll take entries until Friday the 15th of February midnight EST. I'll draw the winner when I get a chance that weekend, then post and pm the winner.

God bless :)

And the winner is subramaniyam! You will be pm'd shortly :) So many wonderful entries, though. Sorry I couldn't give something to everyone.
