Pay It Forward 2013

Recommended Posts

Having seen the generosity abound in PIF, I'd love to join in.

I will be offering up a lightly used Noodler's Ahab Demonstrator.

The pen will have been completely rinsed, and only has minor surface wear.

I'm hoping for this pen to go to someone interested in testing flex pens, preferably for the first time.

All are eligible and will be entered and randomly selected using random.org.

You may enter for other people, however only one entry will be accepted per account.

Enter via PM, a winner will be chosen Sunday the 3rd of February at 10PM EST.

CONUS only please.

17 entries so far! I'll be drawing for this tonight!

With 21 total entries, I drew, and the winner is.....

#5 - ChrisTK!

Please PM me your address and I'll send it out ASAP.

I had to read it 4 times... Thank you!!! I am sending a pm right now!

Unfortunately, Chris is outside of the US, and I was forced to redraw :(. My apologies.

-Dependent upon their residency in CONUS-

The winner is...

#8 - GOB Bluth

I would like to once again apologize for any confusing wording in the original post.

And the pen goes to ... vp31, I have some confidence in your approach. PM me with your contact details and I will send you the pen. I am very curious to know how your idea develops and if you will have a well working pen.

To those I had to pass over: next time better luck, and thanks for joining. I wish I had a pen for everyone - but one will certainly come your way one day, and that will be the pen meant for you... Meanwhile, keep sharing, that is what makes this network such a good place to be.

Thank You so much mhguda!! Thrilled to recd this PIF!

PM-ed you my address.

Thought my fluke reply would not hv any chance in comparison to all the other techie answers. But happy to win this:)) Will keep you posted on the working of the pen. Thanks again - this made my day!

I must read the posts throught the end next time :-D :-D congratz to the new winner!!!! :-)

Chris.. when I was looking for an affordable flex pen, I looked at the Ahab and the Serwex. I ended up going with the Serwex - due to a great review from SPBrown. Is a good starting point for flex pens.

If you PM me your mailing address, I will love to send it to you. Is not a demostrator.. but I am sure you will like it

Noodler's Ink Sample Giveaway!

I would like to reduce some of my current ink sample stock in order to make room for some new colours. So, I would like to take this opportunity to offer a few ink sample packages.

Rules

- I will draw 8 names from a pool of submitted names. This is mainly so I don't get suddenly overwhelmed with 50 ink orders. :P Please PM me your name to enter the drawing.

- Ink samples are free, but you must pay shipping costs, please. This will be $3.50 to the USA and I accept PayPal.

- You may select up to 5 Noodler's ink samples as listed in the link in my signature. Each sample will be a 3mL size.

- International members may apply, but please keep in mind that the United States Post Office has raised their rates significantly, so this package may very well cost $10.00 to ship to your country. PM me for a shipping quote if you are still interested.

I will close the drawing one week from now, on Monday February 11 at around 6pm Mountain Standard Time.

Help out a poor college student! ^-^' INK SAMPLE CLEARANCE! - Parker Penman Sapphire samples, Palomino Blackwing, Palomino Blackwing 602, and empty vials available.

Ground Hog Day Fountain Pen and Notebook Give-away!

I have three TWO Daiso 100 page lined notebooks ( 3.5" x 5.5" ) , two Frogs and one Panda. (Panda's off to Ryan). Each will come with a Pilot Varsity disposable fountain pen, which can be turned into an eyedropper pen when you run out of ink ( see topics here on FPN on how to do that )

Each notebook and fountain pen will be given to a student ( high school or college ) in the USA: first three to message me, first to win. ( Must not have received a give-away from me previously )

Message me with your name and address, school level and area of study, and what you plan to write in this wee little notebook.

Good Luck!

I'm surprised only one student responded.....nobody likes frogs?

My sister liked the frog but she's only 12. I went to that website to get her one and they didn't have any. They're $18 with shipping on ebay.
