You might enjoy this photo of various icicles so regular and some not so regular.

We tend to think about the special kind of icicle that you talk about here are late production with lower quality plastic,

but I dont know if we have proof for that...

Thank you, antoniosz. Mine looks most like the second from the left with perhaps more of a lighter wood grain. It's one of my favorites of the Esties I bought after joining this sub-group. The variety of levers is quite surprising. My preference is the rounded kind.
