Great video! Thanks, Virtu.

I do love Japanese tradition, craftsmanship and everything related.

Reading this thread and watching your YouTube videos has been a great pleasure for me.

What JJ said! Except I can't see the videos any more. :(

No smilies either.

But the good news is, I have a Sailor 1911 on its way equipped with Zoom nib. My next will be either F or EF.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Sounds good. Sailor EF is really fine but not scratchy! :)

It'll be good writer for your daily use when you take a good note on your datebook.

thanks for contributing

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Virtu: any news about the TSUGE pens? They sounded really fascinating, but then dropped off the earth! Any updates?

Too many pens; too little writing.

There is no official announcement about NEW TSUGE fountain pen.

As far as I can predict, they're doing final manufacturing or brush up

the product quality moreover.

Thanks Virtu. Can't wait to get more info about these (not that I need any more Japanese fps - I am waiting for another Hakase and a custom Nakaya)!

What a beautiful garden! Thanks for sharing, virtu. The human handiwork can be seen clearly in a Japanese garden, which has a natural color and rhythm and a truly interesting symmetry. :cloud9:

Finally... 1911 mid-size, black with gold trim, ZOOM nib, and a Sapporo black/Rhodium and E xtra-fine nib, have arrived.

Amazing pens, polar opposites in size, but the XF is as smooth and pleasant to write with as the enormous broad Zoom. I don't think I would have considered an XF without Virtu's video demonstrations, so thanks!

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!
