In the Japanese language, I know the word "omotenashi" is used to describe hospitality. Personally, I think the Japanese omotenashi is wonderful. Thanks for sharing the nice video. I became interested in Japanese hospitality.:cloud9:

The gold ink sold at Nagasawa is called "Shinkaichi Gold".

I like the rangefinder as well. Love its classic look. Now I'm looking for a medium format RF. What should I get? (;

I have many kinds of rangefinder cameras. If you want to

get medium format RF cameras, I recommend Fuji GF670

Hi!

Thank you for this vid! I wish I could understand you!

Your lead pen has a cap? I've never seen that. That's really useful.

My leads always snap off.

I was talking about the Maggiore one, but I like the smaller too.

I've made a quick search and it looks like this big pen case is not sold in Europe or US?

Anyway, I should buy some fountain pen before thinking about a big pen case..

Wonderful! Thanks.

Was this video made recently? A while ago I heard that the company stopped making pens, but perhaps that was just a rumor.

I used to have some of his pens, but I sold them. The pen bodies were very beautiful, but in my opinion the quality of the nibs and sections were not so high. Because the writing experience, i.e. nib quality, is for me the most important aspect of fountain pens, I found that I didn't use them very much.

These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives everything its value.--Thomas Paine, "The American Crisis", 1776

It is not a RUMOR...

The company has stopped making fountain pens because

Mr. Kato passed away in 2010. So I feel so sorry.

Today, Mr. Onishi takes over the role of Mr. Kato. :)

This is fantastic. Thank you for the videos, VirtuThe3rd.

Do you think there is a video hidden somewhere in the National Museum of Japanese History about the making of Sailor nibs?

I have been studying the potential role of fountain pens in my own life for a long time! ^^

When I ask the language to be in english I can't write and I loose the page.

Thanks.
