All very nice.

Keep them coming.

I just received a Visconti Opera Crystal Demonstrator with a F nib. I will post some pics and write up a review next week.

I like the Pilot Custom 823 clear demo...and the filling system is cool...big ink capacity too.

Pelikan M1000 demo is cool too. The MB demos have also been mentioned...one that has not been mentioned is the P51 demos. Hard to find, especially in great shape, but very collectible!

You can see several for sale here. I have no affiliation.

I've just laid my hands on a Pelikan M1005 Demonstrator - it is scheduled for its first test-run this week.

I'll keep you posted but just from the look of it, I'd already say that this is my winner.

It's fitted with an impressive white gold 'M' nib which displays quite some flex.

The nib on this demonstrator is wonderful; looking forward to hearing about it. I found this picture:

It definitely is, but what is even more striking when you have the pen in front of you is the perfection in every detail, along with a size that dwarves a MontBlanc 149

and the way the light plays with the ink inside. What more can I say ?

"There is a kind of magical feature to writing: the ability to stand the test of time. As such, it is our gateway to Eternity".

"For a hand that can hold a featherless baby bird and not make bird paste, then a vintage pen is the best way to fly".

I have a Pelikan M200 Demonstrator with a left oblique italic, stunning pen, excellent nib, worth more than what it cost me. I'll also vote for the Visconti Typhoon Demonstrator, of you get that one, try the 1.3 stub if you get it!

The little things really count.

I'd still take the 149 Demo in a picosecond.

Stipula withe the eritruria, Omas with the 360, Parker with the 51 vac demonstrator, also there were vintage Duofold Senior models that were sold as demos but those are very very rare, also 139 demonstratros which are more rarer than 149s.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

aurora 88 black demo, I don't prefer demo pens but this one caught my eye. looks like a reverse image color or looking through a negative film

Pelikan M1005, and Pilot Custom 823 Demonstrators are my choice.

The M1005 is my only pen which performs well for any length of time with Baystate Blue,

and yes, it can be cleaned with a little effort. Probably putting the M1005 nib in my

black M1000 would have been preferable to others. The M1005 does look well filled with

the aforementioned ink however!
