Love the cap! The curvature of space-time is really well done, although I'm wondering how they did it. Not so sure I like the equations in the pen body itself - if these are engraved, I'm wondering if you can feel these when you write?

Does anyone know pricing yet?

Thanks for posting but alas the pen itself does absolutely nothing at all for me. Still plenty of their other offerings I will spend a life time chasing though.

sigh... why is the 99 ver. like x999999 better...

I wish the barrel is a bit more interesting on the 3000 ver.

I mean at least with the hitchcock pens the regular ones were just as nice/had their own character vs. it's ultra limited edition cousin...

It should be avaible very soon..

The local MB boutique said that they expected it in January and were taking deposits. As I recall, he said the price would be about the same as the Hitchcock.

Hi all, I'm fairly new to the forum and in terms of owning pens but I have some recent purchases which I am currently enjoying!

On the AE pen:

I spoke to a Montblanc rep over at Harrods this morning and they are out of Einstein's although they are expecting some in 'fairly soon'. But he did say that some MB boutiques were getting one or two this weekend but they had been reserved for individuals from way back.

He did say that Harrods were getting the 3000 FP's but that there was already a list - so I could put my name on a list.

I saw one go on ebay the other night but that's disappeared and another one went up today so someone's getting them!

the silhouette of the pen does looks like Pelikan....

My link

Life is like Chinatown signage, its cluttering, confusing but everything that you need is there, just have to look harder....

Sorry to hijack for a moment - I'm glad to see La Stilografica Milano on FPN  I was at a conference in Milan in September, and one afternoon went for a walk, and came across this great pen shop - needless to say, I got stuck there for an hour or more, and left with a thinner wallet, but a big smile and a shopping bag! Excellent selection of pens, including LE's of all the major brands.

The Einstein 3000 is definitely on my list as well, I like the design. Of course the 99 is beautiful, but I would have loved to see it in a 149 - sized skeleton, rather than a 146. Maybe better that way, or I would have been in trouble...

I visited the NYC Boutique this past weekend and asked about this pen. They did not have one in the store but were pleased to show me the biggest coffee table book i have ever seen with close up pictures....and wanted to put me on the waiting list of course!

I do wish the boutiques would stop flaunting the "coffee table books" and just stock the pens themselves. I realize that Einstein has not yet been released, but I got the "coffee table book treatment" for the Picasso pen. I would not part with the tens of thousands of dollars for which these pens sell, unless I saw the actual pen. The practice of luring customers with picture books reminds me of a 1950s aluminum siding salesman, touting how your homely bungalow could become the jewel of suburbia ....

Dont know for other countries.

Aniway this is only a short preview, as officially it will be avaible at Janury for Boutiques and February for Shops.
