Rohrer & Klingner Konigsblau

Here's my review of Rohrer & Klingner Konigsblau ink. This is a really nice shade of blue, easily an everyday use colour, also very nice to write with and inexpensive ($12 a bottle roughly). It's easy to clean from the pen with just water. I would highly recommend the ink to someone looking for a well behaved blue ink for everyday use. I personally need something with a little more water resistance, but have considered this ink regardless of the water resistance, which is saying something.

 

 

And here's the water resistance test. For this I wrote on a small Rhodia pad and after letting the ink dry for several minutes ran it under tap water for a few seconds. The writing at the bottom is not Konigsblau but rather Salix, which I use to label the water test.
