Diamine Damson

[The Good Captain]

This is an ink I really like and think I'll be getting a bottle. Just that bit more subtle and subdued than the Grape and not as dark as the Eclipse. I like both those other inks a lot and would say that the Damson has the look of R&K's marvellous Scabiosa but the Diamine one has the advantage of much easier maintenance, not being iron gall.

I'll be adding this to the ever-growing Christmas wish-list!

Just in case anyone out there is taking notes.

Very subtle indeed.

My own suggestion would be as always, "Why not just get 'em all"?

Any opinion on potential staining of light colored pens?

I have Damson, but honestly, find it a but dull.

 

There is little vibrancy about it.

 

Diamine Violet on the other hand is nicer (In my opinion)

Never had any issues. Used in a Vista and White Safari
