I have been looking for some of these inserts,but unfortunately the shipping looks a little expensive...

I feel your pain. Ive done everything in my power to find a way to ship these reasonably. If the order is large enough, it ends up being worth it. This is why I am going to seek out distributors who can purchase in bulk at a discount and sell to their surrounding area. This is the only way to get these trays in the hands of customers without giving them serious heartburn. Flat rate international USPS is the cheapest method, but is still pricy.

Well, I found out the hard way that there is a reason these are not common items. Its becasue a small run costs thousands of dollars and that doesnt include the initial mold, which is very pricy. Granted, you only need to make the mold once....but you could buy a 2nd car for the price of the mold.

 

You could always make your own trays with velour and popscicle sticks. Believe me, Ive built some really nice boxes with crazier things. You could also just glue small dowels to a board (about 3/4" apart) and then cover it with a nice faux-suede fabric.

 

Or you can just buy my trays :-)

I will be updating my facebook page as these come available and anyone on facebook who adds my company will be the first to know when the trays are ready to ship. Ill even be posting pictures there first.

 

I could use the "likes" anyways, so if you have a facebook account, check me out. Many new products are being launched. I posted my pen cabinet yesterday, Ink kits today and tomorrow..... who knows. But the tray liners news is what you would probably want to see.

My linkHey everyone..... Pen Trays are Done. But heres the big kick in the teeth: The manufacturer obviously thought that pens are 21 inches long so he ran the grooves the wrong way. I couldnt believe it when I picked these up (5 hour drive by the way).......

 

In addition, he made the grooves a full inch wide so they are just too wide for most pens. Either way, he is redoing the mold and the REAL run should be done by Monday. So, I have 450 Black, Red and Blue Trays that are actually quite nice..... and would be perfect to line cigar boxes, jewlery displays or MASSIVE large pens.

 

So, if anyone can think of an application for these, Id love to get my basic costs back. Ther manufacturer covered the mold cost and material but Im still out $650. So, if anyone wants 450 sheets for $650, we can talk a deal.

 

The real trays are coming soon....I promise.

Pendora Pen Tray Liners

The corrected trays are finally starting to arrive. We have bright blue and very nice red in stock now. Black will arrive in about a week.

 

If these actually take off and sell, I will expand to offer every color short of violet (But, I can make violet if you insist). This is the first launch of this product line so future colors will depand on how these sell. Production runs require a 1000 sheet minimum, so I will run colors that are most requested first. Special request colors (like violet) can only be ordered in 250 sheet minimums.

 

USPS Flat rate game boxes are my chosen shipping method for now. International is $39-$69 and the box will hold about 25 sheets.
